  • Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women - works to educate the public and advise the provincial government on issues of interest and concern to women.
  •  Status of Women Canada - is a federal government organization that promotes the full participation of women in the economic, social and democratic life of Canada
  • Techsploration - works to increase the number of women working in science, trades, technical and technology related occupations.
  • Women Unlimited - assists women with barriers to employment by exploring, preparing, obtaining and maintaining employment in the trades and technology fields.
  • Centre for Women in Business - is a not-for-profit organization, based at Mount Saint Vincent University, which helps women start their own business.
  • Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that provides professional attire to low-income women who are seeking employment.
  • Hypatia Association - is a Nova Scotia not-for-profit women’s organization that promotes the full participation of women in non-traditional training and employment in science, trades, and technology.
  • Women's CED Network - assists women who are interested in starting a business, learning about new ways to finance community projects, writing proposals, and participating in community boards.
  • Women’s Employment Outreach - is a non-profit organization which provides a range of free services to women who are unemployed, nearing employment, on stress-related leave or looking for a career change.
  • WISEatlantic.ca  Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Atlantic This is a five-year Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) project designed to increase the number of young women working in science and engineering related occupations
